Gantt Chart

The Gantt chart provides professional project planning with visual timelines, task dependencies, and progress tracking.

Overview

The Gantt chart displays:

  • Task list on the left with details
  • Timeline bars showing task duration
  • Dependency lines connecting related tasks
  • Progress indicators within task bars
  • Critical path highlighting time-sensitive tasks

Accessing the Gantt Chart

  1. Navigate to your project
  2. Click Schedule in the project navigation
  3. Select the Gantt tab

Quick Start

View a Schedule

  1. Open your project
  2. Click Schedule in the navigation
  3. Select a schedule from the dropdown

Create a Task

  1. Click the green Create button
  2. Enter the task name
  3. Set duration and dates
  4. Save
  1. Hover over a task bar to reveal connection points
  2. Drag from one task to another
  3. A dependency line connects them

Track Progress

  1. Double-click a task
  2. Update the % Complete field
  3. Save - the progress bar updates
