Activities View

The Activities view displays all schedule items and activities in a sortable, filterable table, providing a comprehensive list of everything scheduled for a project.

Overview

The Activities view combines:

  • Schedule tasks from your Gantt chart schedules
  • Activities such as appointments, meetings, and events

This unified view makes it easy to see all scheduled work in one place.

Accessing the Activities View

  1. Navigate to your project
  2. Click Schedule in the project navigation
  3. Select the Activities tab

Table Columns

ColumnDescription
TitleTask or activity name (clickable for details)
AssigneeTeam member responsible for the item
DateScheduled date or date range
CategoryActivity category (for activities only)
TypeIndicates whether item is an Activity or Schedule task
StatusCompletion status or progress percentage

Filtering Options

Use filters to narrow down the list:

Show Filter

Toggle what appears in the list:

  • Everything - All schedule tasks and activities
  • Activities Only - Only activities (appointments, meetings)
  • Schedule Only - Only tasks from schedules

Activity Type Filter

Filter by specific activity types:

  • Sales appointments
  • Site visits
  • Inspections
  • Design meetings
  • And other configured types

Status Filter

Filter by completion status:

  • Open - Scheduled but not yet completed
  • Completed - Finished items
  • Cancelled - Cancelled items

Category Filter

Filter activities by their assigned category.

Working with Items

Schedule Tasks

When you click a schedule task:

  • Opens the fullscreen Gantt chart
  • Focuses on the selected task
  • Allows you to edit task details

Activities

When you click an activity:

  • Opens the activity details panel on the right
  • View all activity information
  • Edit activity details
  • Add notes or attachments
  • Update the activity result

Sorting

Click column headers to sort the list:

  • Date - Sort by scheduled date (default)
  • Title - Alphabetical sorting
  • Assignee - Group by team member
  • Status - Group by completion status

Pagination

The list displays 20 items per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate through larger lists.

Understanding Activity Fields

Activities include the following information:

Travel TimeTime needed to reach the location

Common Activity Types

  • Sales appointments - Initial consultations and follow-ups
  • Site visits - On-site measurements and inspections
  • Design meetings - Design review sessions
  • Inspections - Permit and quality inspections
  • Customer follow-ups - Check-in calls and meetings
  • Subcontractor coordination - Trade scheduling
  • Permit pickups - Municipality visits

Activity Results

Track the outcome of each activity:

Tips

  • Use filters together - Combine Show, Type, and Status filters to find specific items quickly
  • Check both types - Remember that schedule tasks and activities are different items
  • Click for details - Always click an item to see full details rather than just the summary columns
