Calendar View
The Calendar view provides a traditional calendar interface for viewing and managing activities within a project.
Overview
The Calendar view displays:
- Activities (appointments, meetings, events)
- Schedule tasks (from Gantt schedules)
- Company holidays
This view is ideal for day-to-day planning and quickly creating new activities.
Accessing the Calendar View
- Navigate to your project
- Click Schedule in the project navigation
- Select the Calendar tab
Calendar Navigation
View Modes
Switch between different time scales:
- Day - Detailed hourly view of a single day
- Week - Seven-day view with time slots
- Month - Overview of the entire month
Navigation Controls
- Previous/Next - Move backward or forward in time
- Today - Jump to the current date
- Date Picker - Click the date header to jump to a specific date
Event Display
Events appear as colored blocks on the calendar:

| Activities | Appointments and meetings with customizable colors |
| Schedule Items | Tasks from schedules, colored by template |
| Holidays | Company holidays in a distinct color (read-only) |
Event Colors
- Activity colors are based on activity type configuration
- Schedule task colors are defined in schedule templates
- Holidays appear in pink/magenta and cannot be edited
Creating Activities
Quick Create
- Double-click on any empty time slot in the calendar
- The activity form opens with the date/time pre-filled
Activity Form Fields
Complete the following fields:

| All-Day | Toggle for full-day events |

| Project | Linked project (auto-filled) |
| Team Members | Additional participants |
| Notes | Details and attachments |
| Travel Time | Time needed to reach location |
Saving Activities
Click Save to create the activity. It immediately appears on the calendar.
Viewing Activity Details
Click any activity on the calendar to:
- View full activity details in a side panel
- Edit activity information
- Add notes or attachments
- Update the activity result (Open, Completed, Cancelled)
- Delete the activity
Filtering the Calendar
Show Filter
Control what appears on the calendar:
- Everything - All activities and schedule items
- Activities Only - Only activities (appointments, meetings)
- Schedule Only - Only tasks from schedules
Schedule Selection
When showing schedule items:
- A multi-select dropdown appears
- Choose which schedules to display
- Useful when projects have multiple schedules
Filter Synchronization
Filters are shared with the Activities view. Changes in one view apply to both.
All-Day Events
For events without specific times:
- Toggle All-Day when creating the activity
- The event appears in the all-day section at the top of the day
- Useful for deadlines, milestones, or full-day appointments
Holidays
Company holidays automatically appear on the calendar:
- Displayed in a distinct color
- Read-only (cannot be edited from the calendar)
- Configured in Admin > Calendar > Holidays
PDF Export
Generate a printable version of the calendar:
- Click the PDF button
- The current view exports to PDF
- Useful for printing weekly schedules or sharing with team members
Calendar Integration
Activities can sync with external calendars:
- Google Calendar
- Microsoft Outlook
When calendar sync is enabled:
- Activities automatically appear in your external calendar
- Team members receive calendar invites
- Changes sync bidirectionally

Tips
- Double-click to create - The fastest way to add a new activity
- Use the right view - Day view for detailed scheduling, Month view for overview
- Filter by schedule - When viewing schedule items, select specific schedules to reduce clutter
- Check availability - The system warns if team members have conflicts
Troubleshooting
Activities Not Appearing
- Check the filter settings (Everything vs Activities Only)
- Verify the date range includes your activities
- Confirm activities were saved successfully
Holidays Missing
- Holidays must be configured in Admin settings
- Check Admin > Calendar > Holidays
Can't Create Activities
- Verify you have permission to create activities
- Ensure you're double-clicking on empty calendar space
