Active Production Jobs Report
View all projects currently in active production stages. This report shows projects where the production stage is set to "Open" status and the project is not marked as "Lost."
Accessing the Report
Reports > Production > Active Production Jobs
What This Report Shows
The report displays all projects meeting these criteria:
- Production stage has "Open" status (identify = 'O')
- Project stage is not "Lost"
- Project is not deleted
- Has a production stage assigned
Results are sorted by Predicted Finish Date (ascending) by default.
Report Columns

| PID | Project ID number, links to the project |
| Contact/Title | Client name (links to contact record) with project title displayed below |
| Salesperson | Sales person assigned to the project |
| Planning Team Leader | Team leader assigned for planning |
| Complete % | Current completion percentage |
| Sold Amount | Total contract/sold amount |
| Production Stage | Current production stage name |
| Opportunity Type | Project category/type |
| Predicted Start | Predicted production start date |
| Predicted Finish | Predicted production completion date (color-coded) |
| Contract Finish | Contractual finish date |
| Project Manager | Project manager assigned |
| Lead Carpenter | Lead carpenter assigned |
| Notes | Click to open the project notes panel |
Date Color Coding
The Predicted Finish column uses color coding to highlight scheduling concerns:
- Red - Past the predicted finish date (overdue)
- Orange - Due within the next 7 days
- Default - More than 7 days until predicted finish
Available Filters
Click Show Filters to open the filter panel. A badge indicates when filters are active.

| User | Filter by any user assigned to the project. Searches across Salesperson, Planning Team Leader, Lead Carpenter, Master Electrician, Lead Painter, and Project Manager fields |
| Production Stage | Filter by a specific production stage |
| Opportunity Type | Filter by project opportunity type |
| Project Type | Filter by type: All, Project, Warranty, or Evaluation |
Report Totals
The footer displays:
- Total project count - Number of projects in the results
- Total sold amount - Sum of all sold amounts for displayed projects
Sorting
Click any column header to sort:
- First click: Ascending order
- Second click: Descending order
- Third click: Remove sort (returns to default)
Export Options
Click Export CSV to download the report data:
- Exports all visible columns
- Includes applied filter results
- Includes totals row
- Filename:

Printing
The report is optimized for printing:
- Prints in landscape orientation
- Filter buttons are hidden when printing
- Active filters are displayed at the top when printing
- Uses compact fonts for better fit
Common Use Cases
Weekly Production Meeting
Review all active projects to discuss status, identify blockers, and plan upcoming work.
Resource Planning
Use the User filter to see workload by team member. Review project counts and total values per person.
Schedule Review
Sort by Predicted Finish to see upcoming deadlines. Use color coding to identify overdue or at-risk projects.
Stage Management
Filter by Production Stage to focus on specific phases. Identify bottlenecks where too many projects are stuck.
Warranty Tracking
Set Project Type filter to "Warranty" to view only warranty jobs in production.
Identifying Issues
Overdue Projects
Look for red-highlighted dates in the Predicted Finish column. These projects have passed their target completion date.
At-Risk Projects
Orange-highlighted dates indicate projects due within a week. Verify they are on track.
Stuck Projects
Projects with low Complete % that have been in the same stage for an extended period may indicate issues.
Workload Imbalance
Use the User filter to compare project counts and values across team members.
