Project Completion Report
This report is filtered based on your division settings:
- Function: Operational
- Work Type: Full Project
The Project Completion report shows how many of your completed jobs finished on time, overall and by division. Use it to track on-time delivery and find the jobs that ran late.

What Counts as On Time
A job is on time when its Substantial Completion Date is on or before its Contract Finish Date:
- On Time: Substantial Completion ≤ Contract Finish Date
- Late: Substantial Completion > Contract Finish Date
A job with no Contract Finish Date counts as late, so missing dates show up instead of being hidden.
See Substantial Completion Date for how the date is set.
What's Included
A job appears when it:
- Is won
- Is in a production stage with a Closed status, such as Complete
- Has a Substantial Completion Date in the selected date range
- Is not marked non-sale
Only divisions with a set contract timeline are measured: operational, full-project divisions. T&M and SAM divisions are service divisions with no contracted finish date, so they are left out entirely rather than counted as late. They can't be added back with the filters.
The numbers match the On Time Completion chart on the Production KPI Dashboard for the same date range and filters.
Project Completion Percent Chart
A donut chart of every job in the report:
- Inner ring: Completed on Time vs. Completed Late
- Outer ring: Each of those split by division
Every slice is a whole percentage of the total number of jobs, so a small division's slice can round to 0%. Use the table below for exact counts.
Click any slice to see the projects behind it.

| Client | Client name |
| Title | Project title |
| Project Manager | Assigned project manager. The heading uses your company's label for this field. |
| Substantial Completion | The date the job was substantially complete |
| Contract Finish | The contracted finish date |
| Diff. (days) | Days between the two dates. Positive means finished early, negative means late. Blank when there is no Contract Finish Date. |
The list shows up to 500 projects. If there are more, a note tells you how many are shown. Narrow the date range to see the rest.
Available Filters
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Substantial Completion From / to | The Substantial Completion Date range. Defaults to January 1 of this year through today. |
| Project Manager | Only jobs assigned to this project manager |
| Division / Function / Work Type | Narrow to specific divisions. Results always stay within operational, full-project divisions. |
The filters are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a filtered view.
The Division, Function, and Work Type filters appear only for companies that classify their divisions (using more than one function or work type). See Divisions for how these classifications are configured.
The three filters are combined: a project is included only when it matches every filter at once. For example, selecting the Handyman (Internal) and Design Build (Operational) divisions together with the Internal function shows Handyman only — it is the sole division that satisfies both.
Leaving a filter blank places no restriction on that dimension, so it reads as "All". Selecting Internal for Function with Division and Work Type blank gives the entire Internal compartment.
