Schedule Item Presets

Required Permission
Manage Company Settings - You must have the Manage Company Settings permission to access this setting.

Maintain a list of standard schedule item names so your team titles schedule items consistently.

Overview​

Schedule Item Presets are reusable schedule item titles, such as "Demo", "Rough Plumbing", or "Drywall". When someone adds a production schedule item, the Title field suggests your preset names as they type. They can pick a preset or type a new title.

Accessing This Setting​

  1. Go to Settings > Scheduling > Schedule Item Presets

Configuration Options​

Each preset has:

  • Preset Title - The name suggested in the schedule item Title field
  • Preset Description - Optional notes about what the item covers
  • Period (Duration Days) - The typical length of the item, in days

Drag presets to change their order in the list.

Using Presets​

When adding a production schedule item:

  1. Start typing in the Title field
  2. Choose a matching preset name from the suggestions, or keep typing your own title
  3. Fill in the remaining schedule item details
