Presets

Configure pre-defined settings for quick project setup.

Overview

Presets are pre-configured bundles of project settings that can be applied when creating new projects. This speeds up project creation by automatically setting multiple options at once.

Accessing This Setting

  1. Go to Settings > Projects > Presets

Configuration Options

Creating Presets

  • Preset Name - Name for internal reference
  • Description - Preset purpose
  • Project Type - Associated project type
  • Active Status - Enable or disable presets

Preset Options

  • Default markup percentages
  • Default tax rates
  • Assigned team members
  • Default folders
  • Schedule template
  • Document templates to include
  • Custom field defaults

Common Presets

  • Small Kitchen Remodel
  • Large Kitchen Remodel
  • Master Bath Remodel
  • Home Addition
  • Whole House Renovation

Using Presets

When creating a project:

  1. Select a preset from the dropdown
  2. All preset values are applied
  3. Modify individual settings as needed
