Manage company equipment and tools.

Overview

Equipment settings allow you to track company-owned equipment and tools. This inventory helps with scheduling, maintenance tracking, and resource allocation.

Accessing This Setting

  1. Go to Settings > Equipment

Configuration Options

Adding Equipment

  • Equipment Name - Name or description
  • Type/Category - Equipment category
  • Serial Number - Manufacturer serial number
  • Purchase Date - When acquired
  • Purchase Price - Cost
  • Condition - Current condition
  • Location - Where it's stored
  • Assigned To - Current user/project
  • Active Status - In service or retired

  • Hand Tools

  • Heavy Equipment

  • Office Equipment

Maintenance Tracking

  • Service history
  • Next service due
  • Maintenance costs

Using Equipment

Equipment can be:

  • Assigned to projects
  • Scheduled for jobs
  • Tracked for maintenance
  • Included in job costing
