Manufacturers

Required Permission
Company Setup - You must have the Company Setup permission to access this setting.

Manage product and material manufacturers.

Overview

Manufacturers maintains a list of product and material manufacturers used in your estimates and selection catalog. This master list ensures consistency when tracking products and materials.

Accessing This Setting

  1. Go to Settings > Manufacturers

Configuration Options

Adding Manufacturers

  1. Click New Manufacturer
  2. Fill in the fields:
    • Manufacturer Name — Company name (required)
    • Website — Manufacturer website URL (optional)
  3. Click Save

Editing Manufacturers

  1. Click the edit icon next to a manufacturer
  2. Update the name or website
  3. Click Save

Deleting Manufacturers

  1. Click the delete icon next to a manufacturer
  2. Confirm the deletion

Deleted manufacturers are soft-deleted. Existing catalog items that reference a deleted manufacturer retain their data.

Searching

Use the search bar to filter manufacturers by name.

Using Manufacturers

Manufacturers are referenced in:

  • Selection catalog items — Link products to their manufacturer
  • Estimating database components — Associate components with a manufacturer

When creating or editing a selection catalog item, you can select a manufacturer from this list.
