Permit Number
Enter the official permit number assigned by the municipality. This field is optional when creating the permit and can be added later once the municipality issues a number.
Municipality (Required)
Enter the name of the issuing municipality (city, county, or jurisdiction). This helps track which government entity is responsible for the permit.
Status (Required)
Select the current permit status. Statuses are customizable by your company. Common statuses include:
- Submitted
- Under Review
- Approved
- Rejected
- Received
Applied Date
The date when the permit application was submitted to the municipality. Use this to track how long permits have been pending.
Expected Receive Date
The anticipated date when you expect to receive the permit. This helps with project scheduling and identifying permits that may be delayed.
Received Date
The actual date the permit was received or approved. Set this when the municipality grants the permit.
Team
Assign team members responsible for managing this permit. Select one or more users from your company to track accountability.
Add File
Upload a document related to the permit, such as:
- Application forms
- Plans or drawings
- Approval letters
- Supporting documentation
Note: You can upload one file when creating the permit. Additional files can be added by editing the permit later.
Note
Add an initial note or comment about the permit. This becomes the first entry in the permit's comment history and is useful for recording context about the application.
After Creating
Once created, the permit appears in the project's Permits table. You can:
- Track status changes by editing the permit and updating the status
- Add more files by editing the permit
