Meeting Types

Configure meeting categories for appointments and scheduling.

Overview

Meeting Types define the different kinds of meetings your team schedules. These are often used with online scheduling and calendar integrations.

Accessing This Setting

  1. Go to Settings > Calendar > Activity Meeting Types

Configuration Options

Creating Meeting Types

  • Meeting Type Name - Name of the meeting type
  • Duration - Default length of this meeting type
  • Location - Default location or "Virtual"
  • Description - Description shown to clients
  • Buffer Time - Time before/after meetings
  • Active Status - Enable or disable types

Common Meeting Types

  • Initial Consultation
  • Sales Presentation
  • Design Review
  • Pre-Construction Meeting
  • Progress Walk-through
  • Final Walk-through

Using Meeting Types

Meeting types are used for:

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Online booking (if enabled)
  • Calendar organization
  • Meeting duration defaults
