Employee Referral Report

This report is filtered based on your division settings:

  • Function: Operational
  • Work Type: Full Project

Track contacts referred by employees to understand your employee referral network effectiveness.

Accessing the Report

Reports > Marketing > Employee Referral Report

Columns

ColumnDescription
Project IDThe project identifier
CEC UserThe user who created the contact record
Client NameFirst and last name of the referred contact
Referred By EmployeeName of the employee who made the referral
StageCurrent project stage
Referral DateDate the referral was recorded
Appt. DateDate of the First Appointment activity. Shown in green bold when the activity result is marked as Completed
Close DateActual close date. Shown in green bold when the project stage is Won
Sold AmountContract value for the project

Totals Row

A summary row appears at the bottom of the table showing:

  • Referrals — count of referrals not in the default stage
  • Appt — count of completed first appointments
  • Sold — count of projects with a Won stage
  • Sold Amount — sum of sold amounts across all rows

Available Filters

Referral DateFilter by when the referral was recorded (From/To range)

Referred By EmployeeFilter by the employee who made the referral
DivisionFilter by opportunity type/division

All date filters support templated date ranges (e.g., This Month, Last Quarter, YTD) via the period selector dropdown.

Understanding the Report

  • One row per contact: Each referred contact appears with their earliest project.
  • Appointment tracking: The Appt. Date column shows the date of the activity with a "First Appointment" subcategory. It turns green when the activity result is set to Completed.
  • Sorting: Click any column header to sort. Click again to reverse the sort order.
  • Row click: Click a row to navigate to the project detail page.

Export Options

Click Export CSV to download the current report data as a CSV file. The export includes the totals row and respects all active filters.

Tips

  • Use the Referral Date filter to focus on referrals from a specific time period.
  • Filter by Referred By Employee to see which employees are generating the most referrals.
  • Compare Appt and Sold totals to gauge referral conversion rates.
