Time Activity
The Time Activity page gives managers a real-time view of who is currently clocked in, on break, or not working. Use it to monitor your team's status throughout the day without interrupting their work.
Accessing Time Activity
Navigate to Time Tracking > Time Activity from the main menu.
Viewing Tabs
The page displays two tabs when you have the View All Timesheets permission:
- My Team — Shows employees who report to you
- All Users — Shows every employee in the system
If you do not have the View All Timesheets permission, only the My Team view is available.
Employee Status
Each employee row displays a status indicator:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Clocked In (green) | Currently working on a project |
| On Break (orange) | Break timer is running |
| Not Clocked In (grey) | Not currently clocked in to any project |
Table Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Employee | Last name, first name with avatar |
| Status | Current clock-in status |
| Job | The project the employee is clocked into, displayed as "Client Last Name - Project ID - Title". Shows "On Break @ time" if on break |
| Category | The cost code/category for the active time entry |
| Start Time | When the employee clocked in to the current entry |
Sorting and Searching
- Click the Employee or Status column headers to sort the table
- Use the Search field to filter employees by first or last name
Auto-Refresh
The Time Activity page automatically refreshes every 45 seconds to keep status information current. No manual refresh is needed.
Mobile View
On smaller screens, the table switches to a card layout showing each employee's name, status, job, category, and start time in a compact format.
