Financed Projects Report

The Financed Projects report lists all won projects that have a financing plan attached to their sold estimate. This helps track projects using customer financing options.

Accessing the Report

Reports > Sales > Financed Projects

Report Overview

This report shows projects where:

  • The project stage is "Won"
  • The sold estimate has a financing plan selected
  • The project falls within the selected date range

Report Columns

Understanding Financing Plans

What are Financing Plans?

Financing plans are payment options offered to customers, typically through third-party financing partners. These are configured in Settings > Financing Options.

How They're Tracked

When an estimate is marked as sold:

  1. The selected financing plan is recorded
  2. The project appears in this report
  3. Revenue is tracked with financing designation

Report Totals

The footer shows:

  • Total Sold Amount: Sum of all original contract values
  • Total Sold Amount (w/ CO): Sum including change orders

Common Use Cases

1. Financing Partner Reporting

  • Track volume of financed projects
  • Report to financing partners
  • Verify commission calculations

2. Sales Analysis

  • Understand financing adoption rate
  • Compare financed vs non-financed sales
  • Identify financing-friendly opportunity types

3. Cash Flow Planning

  • Financed projects may have different payment timing
  • Plan for financing-related fees or adjustments
  • Forecast revenue recognition

4. Consultant Performance

  • Filter by consultant
  • See who utilizes financing effectively
  • Identify training opportunities

Click any row to navigate directly to the project view for:

  • Full project details
  • Estimate information
  • Contract and payment details

Export Options

Click Export CSV to download:

  • Full list of financed projects
  • All column data
  • Totals for analysis

Tips

  • Default date range is January 1 to today of current year
  • Only projects with financing plans on sold estimates appear
  • Compare to total sales to calculate financing percentage
  • Multiple financing plans may be configured in Settings

Prerequisites

For This Report to Show Data

  1. Financing Plans Configured: Set up in Settings > Financing Options
  2. Financing Selected on Estimate: Must be chosen when creating/editing estimate
  3. Estimate Sold: Project must be won with sold estimate
  4. Close Date Set: Actual close date required
