KPI Dashboards
KPI dashboards roll several related measures onto a single page so a department head can see performance at a glance, rather than opening a report per metric.
Each dashboard covers one department and shares a single filter set across every panel on the page: a date range, an optional person filter, and — for companies that classify their divisions — the Division, Function, and Work Type filters.
Available Dashboards
| Dashboard | Covers |
|---|---|
| Production Dashboard | Gross sales, on-time completion, open work, cycle time, and direct margin variance to budget |
| Design Dashboard | Design agreement counts, closing ratio, and six design cycle times |
| Sales Dashboard | Sales against goal, pipeline, appointments, average job size, and a two-month forecast |
| Marketing Dashboard | Lead volume, closing rate and sales value by lead source and by division |
Availability
KPI dashboards are enabled per company. Where they are available they appear under Reports > KPI. If that menu does not appear, the dashboards are not enabled for your company.
The Production Dashboard additionally requires the View Project Costs permission, because it exposes actual cost, estimated budget, and margin variance.
Reading These Dashboards
Every panel on a dashboard answers to the same date range, but not every panel measures the same date. A cycle-time panel measuring "design agreement to won" is scoped by design fee date, while a completion panel is scoped by completion date. Each page documents which date drives which panel — worth checking before comparing two numbers that look like they should reconcile.
Two panels can also legitimately disagree with a standalone report covering apparently the same ground, because they may count different things. The Sales Dashboard page works through the most common example.
