Access Readybuild from any computer or mobile device using a web browser.
Overview
Readybuild is a web-based application that works on any device with an internet connection and a modern web browser. There's no software to install - simply open your browser and log in.
Desktop/Laptop Access
Supported Browsers
Readybuild works best with these browsers:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari

Accessing Readybuild
- Open your web browser
- Navigate to your company's Readybuild URL (provided by your administrator)
- Enter your email and password
- Click Log In
Creating a Desktop Shortcut
For quick access, create a shortcut on your desktop:
Windows (Chrome)
- Navigate to your Readybuild login page
- Click the three-dot menu in Chrome (top right)
- Select More tools > Create shortcut
- Check "Open as window" for an app-like experience
- Click Create
Mac (Chrome)
- Navigate to your Readybuild login page
- Click the three-dot menu in Chrome
- Select More tools > Create shortcut
- The shortcut will appear in your Applications folder
Windows (Edge)
- Navigate to your Readybuild login page
- Click the three-dot menu in Edge
- Select Apps > Install this site as an app
- Name the app and click Install
Mobile Device Access
Installing as a Mobile App (PWA)
Readybuild can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone or tablet for quick access.
:::warning Important You must log in to Readybuild first before adding the app to your home screen. :::
iPhone/iPad (Safari)
- Open Safari and navigate to your Readybuild URL
- Log in with your credentials — Very important: you must be logged in before proceeding to the next step
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow pointing up)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Name the app "Readybuild" and tap Add
- The Readybuild icon will appear on your home screen
Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and navigate to your Readybuild URL
- Log in with your credentials — Very important: you must be logged in before proceeding to the next step
- Tap the three-dot menu (top right)
- Select Add to Home screen or Install app
- Name the app and tap Add
- The Readybuild icon will appear on your home screen
Mobile Browser Access
If you prefer not to install the app, you can always access Readybuild directly through your mobile browser:
- Open Chrome (Android) or Safari (iOS)
- Navigate to your company's Readybuild URL
- Log in with your credentials
- Bookmark the page for easy access

Tablet Access
Tablets provide an excellent Readybuild experience, offering the portability of mobile with a larger screen.

- Android tablets (10" or larger recommended)
- Microsoft Surface tablets
Tablet Setup
Follow the same PWA installation steps as mobile devices for quick access:
- Open your browser and navigate to Readybuild
- Use the browser's "Add to Home Screen" option
- Access Readybuild with a single tap

Troubleshooting
Can't Access Readybuild
- Check your internet connection - Try loading another website
- Clear browser cache - Old cached data can cause issues
- Try a different browser - Rule out browser-specific problems
- Check your URL - Ensure you're using the correct company URL
- Contact your administrator - Your account may need attention
Mobile App Not Saving to Home Screen
- iPhone: Make sure you're using Safari (other browsers don't support this feature on iOS)
- Android: Try clearing Chrome's cache and data
Slow Performance
- Close unused tabs - Too many open tabs can slow performance
- Update your browser - Older versions may have performance issues
- Check your internet speed - Run a speed test
- Clear browser cache - Accumulated cache can slow things down
Session Expiring
If you're being logged out frequently:
- Ensure cookies are enabled in your browser
- Don't use incognito/private browsing mode
- Check that your browser isn't blocking third-party cookies
Security Best Practices
On Personal Devices
- Use a strong, unique password
- Enable two-factor authentication if available
- Log out when finished
- Don't save passwords on shared devices
On Public Computers
- Never save your password
- Always log out when done
- Clear browser history after use
- Avoid accessing sensitive information on public networks
On Mobile Devices
- Use a device passcode or biometric lock
- Keep your device's operating system updated
- Don't access Readybuild on jailbroken/rooted devices
